All welcome to open night at the Wellington Buddhist Centre - every Tuesday from 7pm.

Why think about the brevity of life? The second mind-turning reflection is on the transitory nature of life and the certainty of death.

The only thing we take with us at death is our karma vipaka, the consequences of our actions. Do we feel we have transformed our actions of body, speech and mind enough to meet death at anytime?
And how do we abandon things done solely for this life and make our lives meaningful as preparation for what happens after death.

Buddhism is not about accumulating knowledge of Buddhism, it is about reflecting on the teachings presented, and if we find them valuable allowing them to change us.

Every Tuesday we have a talk and discussion on some aspect of Buddhism with ample opportunity for questions; then a tea break; followed by a period of meditation.
