Tuesday night is open night at the Wellington Buddhist Centre – All welcome.

This evening is the sixth in a series we are doing on Great Buddhist Teachers of the Past. Tonight there will be two short presentations followed by meditation.

Firstly Malcolm will tell us about Nagarjuna (2nd C) great Buddhist thinker, revealer of the Perfection of Wisdom teachings.

Then he will talk about Dilgo Khyentse Rimpoche (1910-1991) who gave Sangharakshita (the founder of our Buddhist movement) many teachings and the Amitabha initiation.

Each evening is stand alone, even when it is part of a series. The evening begins with a short talk on an aspect of Buddhism with opportunity for questions and discussion; then a tea break; followed by a period of meditation.
