ManGo are Men's Only Pilates sessions run by Nick, a male Pilates Instructor.

Our Group Classes start a new series next week - Better Back Stories - designed to improve the mobility of your spine and strengthen the back and core muscles to support your posture.

Are you suffering from back pain as a result of poor posture? Do others have to endure your moans and groans with complaints of a backache?

If so, you sound like you could do with better backstories... the ones where you can tell people 'you've never felt so good!' or 'I can now bend down to put my shoes and socks on without pain!'

In these classes, we will take you through a range of stretches to get your spine more mobile as well as some good core stability exercises to teach you how to support your back in everyday movements. Forget traditional situps (just quietly these won’t help a bad back), instead, the focus will be on the deeper layers which wrap around your waist from front to back and to the sides creating a foundation for you to stay pain-free.

About ManGo
ManGo hold both group classes and private sessions which are designed to target the areas of tightness and limitations seen more commonly in men - let's face it guys we are built differently! So we focus on flexibility, balance, mobility and core control. We use a range of props (all included) to assist your movements e.g. stretch bands, rollers and swiss balls.

Numbers are limited to 6 per class and are held at our professional Personal Pilates Studio on Te Awe Awe street where we offer exceptional quality and service to everyone who attends.
