In “Making Waves: Stories of Courage and Hope”, six Pasifika Massey University students testify about the effects of climate change on their lives and loved ones. The film is a “call to action” about what Pasifika people need and want from us in light of climate-induced devastation, which becomes the focus question for the forum.

Day timeline:

10:00 am - Welcoming speech by Teanau Tuiono.
11:00-12:00 pm - Premiere of the film 'Making Waves: Stories of Courage and Hope following by a discussion'.
12:00 - 1:00 pm - lunch (will be provided).
1:00- 2:00 pm - workshops.
2:00 - 2:30 pm - wrap up of the day, music and relax.
