Come along for an hour of young local talent from the New Zealand Modern School of Music!

Iokopeta Tobeck is a 15-year-old guitarist and singer. She currently performs solo and with her band, Zero Sanity, which has performed at the local Waiau Pa Hop, and Waiau Pa Summer Sounds.

NZ singer/songwriter Nate Kruse writes and performs pop rock and acoustic music as a soloist. His main focus is finding his own style of music different from the rest, but one that is still attention-grabbing and widely appealing.

The Talented Turner Family are from Waiau Pa - guitarist Summer age 11, pianist/keyboardist Ruby age 9, pianist/drum player Lucas age 8 and guitarist/drum player Kelly age 8. Their musical tastes include a range of pop music artists including Michael Jackson and funky sounds of kiwi band 'The Black Seeds'.

Sophie Clark is a talented young pianist who has a passion for performing and learning a wide range of musical styles modern, classical, boogie and blues. Sophie especially loves to improvise, and she is working towards performing at NZMSM Counties music competitions in June.
