Te Pūanga Whakaari Theatre Productions ("Friday's Flock") partners with Palmerston North Improvisation group, Spontaneous, to take a comical look at the world of legislation and political correctness.
Has the world gone PC and Legislation mad? Where will it end? Where might it end? From parenting to office work, from accessing your own account information to a game of Bullrush, from buying cigarettes to sharing your home-grown vege, nothing is off limits in this production.
Promised to make you laugh, this play was written by Karla Haronga for the NZ Theatre Federation One Act Play Festival in 2008; the play was a national finalist in this competition coming away with the Brian Aitken Youth Award. Given a once over and a shot of up-to-date, the play is still, if not more, relevant than it was 9 years ago.
