Beginner - Latin American & Social Ballroom Dance Class.

Don’t let fear stop you!
Bring it with you!

First and foremost we think of Ballroom Dancing as a physical activity. And it most certainly is. No matter if you are gliding around the floor with a Slow Waltz or tearing up the floor with a ChaCha, all dances have challenges for your body. The constant movement is a cardio workout as most dance lessons or events last for at least 45 minutes.

So even if you are moving slowly, that’s 45 minutes of moving. But if you are putting a bit of effort into getting around the floor then your 45-minute stroll just became a lot more calorie consuming… and you probably didn’t even notice it!

Did you know that dancing isn’t just good for your body? It’s also great for your brain. Dancing can help you stay fit (for people of all ages) it has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including:
- Improved condition of your heart and lungs
- Increase muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness
- Improved muscle tone and strength
- Stronger bones, helping to reduce risk of osteoporosis
- Better coordination --agility and flexibility
- Improved balance and spatial awareness
- Increased physical confidence
- Improved mental functioning
- Greater self-confidence
- Better Social skills

If you’ve ever wanted to learn to dance this is the class for you, Fun, simple and easy to learn dance moves which can be used in the Waltz, Rumba, Rhythm Foxtrot, Cha-Cha and Salsa.

Dancing is like the alphabet. Once you’ve learnt the basics you can put them together in several combinations.

Beyond that, all you need is a willingness to let yourself go.

Plenty of off street parking.
(Eftpos unavailable).
