Lawrence McCallum is a writer who published the first full biography of George McCulloch and his art collection in 2015.

This collection of art was described by Gerard Vaughan, Director of the National Gallery of Australia as one of the greatest collections of modern British art ever assembled. McCallum will bring this significant collection to an Ashburton audience through his talk, 'George McCulloch from Sheep Station Manager to Art Collector' at the Gallery on the 17th of February at 11am. All are welcome to attend this free talk.
