After needing vocal surgery twice over the past three months, and having to cancel her extensive tour dates around both Australia and New Zealand in June and July this year to promote her Mass Appeal & NPR premiered NZ Top 10 and no.1 in the alternative chart, Royal Blue 3000 EP. Ladi6 is back!

Forgoing touring the ep specifically altogether, Ladi6 is opting instead to head back into the studio to create another musical masterpiece with her dynamic producing duo Parks & B.Haru and always longtime drummer and musical compadre, Julien Dyne.

Ladi6 brings you, The Alpha Sessions III over Labour Weekend Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of October 2017.

Ever striving for higher heights and more profound musical and personal experiences, Ladi6 has decided to bring with her to this auspicious event a sisterhood of upcoming and mainstay local legends to make this labor weekend getaway, one not to miss!

Ladi6 has decided to celebrate her return packing heat of the femme fatale persuasion. Aotearoas own roots & reggae queen, SilvaMC, hiphops newest rap goddess JessB, and NZ’s own r’n’b rising superstar Bailey Wiley.

This being the third Alpha sessions since its inception in 2015 as always will feature the Ladi6 crew taking their studio set up on stage to improvise on new material and deconstruct catalogue classics.

Bear witness to the absolute beginning stages of what Ladi6 hopes to be a 2018 full length album, the welcoming back of our eclectic soul queen Ladi to the live stage, and the first all-female Alpha Sessions to date.

Ladi6 is making this weekend extra special, there will be Royal Blue 3000 albums and merchandise on sale and the event itself will be recorded live.
