A Sasquatch is said to be at large in the Polhill Reserve! These famously large-footed, nocturnal beasts are rarely seen on our shores. This your probably your best chance yet to find one – ably guided by two expert trackers.
Directions: meet at the Polhill Reserve, Transient Track Entrance, which is approximately 231 Aro St (near the start of Holloway Road). Click this link for Google Map LOCATION. You will see our ticketing caravan on the flat, grassy part of the reserve, in a lit area.
Parking: public street parking is available on Aro St. and nearby.
What to Bring: warm clothes, a waterproof jacket, good footwear (suitable for cross-country walking). The terrain is fairly easy, but it will be very dark. We provide torches and any required lighting, plus security in case of any potential Sasquatch attack.
When to Arrive: Please aim to arrive at least 20 minutes before the time stated on your ticket to allow time to assemble and meet with the guides. Allow more time for parking, etc., if needed. Hot drinks and snacks will be available from our caravan prior to and after the journey.
Cancellations: Sasquatch is an all weather event, however, In case of extreme bad weather, such as torrential rain and very high winds, we may have to postpone or cancel. Please watch our website and Twitter plus Facebook feeds to keep up-to-date.
