I am delighted to be able to present a truly international concert series with musicians from Brazil, Australia, UK & NZ.

As a local Kapiti musician and like our many live music enthusiasts, I realise the need to upscale the number of quality musical events available our region.  I am proud to present a series of four concerts enjoyed in a relaxed, convivial setting and to provide an opportunity for upcoming young musicians to present themselves during the course of the festival. This is the chance for all music fans to see first hand what is going on in the international world of jazz.

Over the course of the four-day event, there will be evening concerts daily commencing with a grand opening on Thursday, November 30th.

Nanny Assis from Brazil will be performing with Kevin Field and New York based New Zealander, Maggie Gould; Norman Meehan & Hannah Griffin will combine with Blair Latham to present "Jazz meets the poets"; Roy Phillips - the voice of The Peddlers; Nichaud & Mark Fitzgibbon from Australia and fresh from a US tour and performance at the Monterey Jazz festival, Rodger Fox with Big Band. Other performers include Geoff Culverwell, Paul Dyne & Nick Granville who team up on various occasions during the events.

On Saturday morning, a clinic with the Festival Headliners is being offered and on Sunday morning a band clinic is available.

Sunday afternoon sees Wellington area Junior Bands and other local artists performing before the closing event which commences at 7:30 pm.

Join us for one event or all of them. Do not miss the opportunity to see some extraordinary live performances for a fraction of the cost normally associated with live musical events. Come to single events or join us for the whole weekend for the fantastic discounted price of $300.00 - access to every event, saving $60.00.
