Invercargill Movie Night - Just Eat It. Presented by WasteNet Southland and Waste Free Living with Kate Meads.

To go into the prize draw for free tickets, send an email to: wastenet@icc.govt.nz telling us what food you or your household wastes the most (no judgement) and who you would like to bring to the movie.

Join us for the special screening of the world famous "Just Eat It" documentary at Civic Theatre. Just Eat It is a 74-minute documentary film following a couple who challenge themselves to eat only "wasted food" for 6-months. You will be surprised by the unexpected consequences of this challenge. Ticket costs go towards venue hire and catering.

Doors open at 5:30pm.

Nationally we waste $872 million a year on food that we buy and throw away uneaten. Some of this is made up of things like peelings, cores and bones but the majority is, or once was perfectly good food.

Please note seating is limited to 200 people. (This means you have a 1 in 200 chance of winning the Bosch Fridge).
