James Nokise:
As a previous winner of Best Male Comedian and nominee of NZ’s highest comedy honour, The Fred – you know Nokise is top tier. Described by the Spinoff as “James Nokise is more than a New Zealand institution, he’s a goddamned necessity.”

David Correos:
Christchurch-raised Filipino-Kiwi comic David Correos is a “one-man circus” (Theatreview) and 2016’s Billy T winner. On stage, he is a chaotic ball of energy and is famous for surprising, shocking and causing audiences to double over laughing.

The Fan Brigade:
Last year’s Best Newcomer winner at the Int. NZ Comedy Festival and musical crown of the New Zealand comedy scene. They’re razor sharp, cutting as they come and according to Metro “creative and intellectual masterpieces”.

Paul Douglas:
Paul is quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the most reliably hilarious comedians performing all over the country. He’s everyone’s best mate from Hamilton and has a story for any occasion. Winner of Break Through Comedian of the year twice and won Best Joke of 2015.

Eli Matthewson:
The self-described "gay comedian with the arms" is at the peak of his powers. Eli's a multi-award winning comedian, TV talent and hilarious podcaster (The Male Gayz). Stuff.co.nz called him a "must see" and The NZ Herald proclaim Matthewson "nails every punchline". What more do you need to know?

Tim Batt:
Host of TVNZ’s Banter, co-host of international smash podcast The Worst Idea of All Time and two-time Billy T nominee. According to Stuff.co.nz “He's clever and he's got something to say.”
