What is Ayurveda?

Known as Yoga’s sister science, the ancient tradition of Ayurveda translates to “the Knowledge or Mastery of Life” and can give us great insight to ourselves as we try to exist in nature’s 5 elements, even in modern times.

Looking closely at how it defines our anatomical structure, personality, and tendencies, we’ll learn Ayurvedic tools to balance ourselves physically and energetically, through its tri-dosha system. This natural “preventive medicine” helps us understand how to best care for our bodies, minds, and spirits, By Ourselves, using asana practice (poses), pranayama (breathwork), panchakarma (5 cleansing actions), massage, and diet. Knowledge is power!

Join Beryl for an entertaining & interactive talk on this topic and see how Ayurevdic living can help you!

Beryl Lebowitz Ciccoricco is a 500hr ERYT and Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance, who studied at the College of Ayurveda and Panchakarma in Kerala, India in 2012.

(Next to Nectar Café on Princes St, opposite former Chief Post Office, take the lift or stairs to level one, we are next to the hairdresser).
