A magical, illuminated evening parade on all things wheeled; bikes, scooters, wheelchairs, skateboards, unicycles, power chairs, and more - or come on foot! A series of fun, free, fully accessible events for everyone, culminating in Auckland’s first-ever illuminated bike and all-things-wheeled parade!

Illuminated Parade - June 10, 6:30pm - The Cloud
Bring friends and family down to the waterfront to take part in Auckland’s first-ever illuminated all-wheels parade! A free event for everyone of all ages and abilities.

- Dust off your wheels – whether it be a bike, scooter, skateboard, wheelchair or stroller
- Have some fun pimping your wheels with fairy lights, bike lights, torches and tinsel
- Head down to the Cloud with your wheels for 6.30pm to join the fun!

As the route winds along the waterfront, music and performances will light the way and fantastic illuminated bike floats will be riding with you. The ride culminates at Silo Park with a short, spectacular performance and hot chocolate or mulled wine available to purchase.

The parade is preceded by:
Pimp My Wheels Family Day - May 2710am - 4pm, Shed 10

- Get expert help and ideas to pimp your wheels for the parade!
- See performances by world famous illuminated man, Vospertron
- Learn about Matariki and the night sky, with Tui Matira Rangapiri-Ransfield
- Cool hands-on science activities, run by The TestPod
- Have a go on loads of bikes and wheelchairs, try out an e-bike!

Watch Artists At Work - 2 -10 June - 10am-4pm, The Cloud
See Wellington artists’ collective Lucid Dream Bike hard at work on 7 unique illuminated bike floats for our parade. Pop in as many times as you like to see the floats taking shape.
