Because of the wild weather we have postponed this event to Saturday 22 July.

Good pruning = good fruiting.

Though the best (and simplest) time to train your trees is when they are young – wild and woolly trees can be bought back into production and tamed too.

Today we are learning on some older, neglected fruit trees - a plum, an apricot, an apple and a pear. I'll demo how to prune a new tree and show you how to prune a young nectarine as well.

Take home my pruning notes, and enjoy a homemade morning tea and cup of coffee.

Wear your gumboots.

Because pruning can only happen on a dry day, we’ll have to be flexible! Postponement date is Saturday 22 July.
