You've already mastered carb counting but what about the other nutrients in your food? Studies have indicated that high-fat/protein meals require more insulin than lower-fat/protein meals with identical carbohydrate content. Our speaker will explore this topic in more detail.

Portion size places an important role in helping your overall wellbeing. It's not just about carbohydrates. This session will look at all the nutrients that make up our food - carbohydrate, fats and protein. Our speaker will give you practical meal preparation tips to help you every day.

Hear inspiring stories of real people living with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, blood poisoning, that have moved to living healthy. Starting to move more has a big impact on your overall health but it can be hard to get started.

Taking the stress out and looking after you:
Good health care requires constant attention to good nutrition, physical activity, medications – and how they each affect blood glucose levels. Speaker will provide practical tips you can apply to your own situation.
