Frances Hodgkins (1869-1947) may be New Zealand's most famous artist. However, there is a lot left to explain about her life's work.

This course sets Frances Hodgkins in context, and considers her contemporaries and rivals. You will be provided insight that explains the different stages of her incredible career, and illuminate the changes she made to her style over the years.

This course will appeal to those who enjoy art, particularly New Zealand art.
