Celebrate Festa Junina - the June festivals in Brazil!

Só Samba will perform its popular yearly June Festival gig with its 4ALL project featuring amazing guests musicians. This year the band will repeat the feat on Saint John's Day (Dia de São João) with new songs that will make you dance all night to the sounds of forró at the festive and eclectic Leroy's Bar.

There will be typical food & drink such as the delicious quentão - a warm drink made with cachaça and spices.

Some say Forró (pronounced "for'hoh") comes from the English expression "For All". It's a genre of Brazilian music originated in the Northeastern region that encompasses various dance styles and musical beats. Forró has gained widespread popularity throughout Brazil and is closely associated with June Festivals, which marks the end of summer and the beginning of the harvest and celebrates a number of Christian saints.

Come along and dance the way you like; in pairs, alone, in groups or be a swinging wall flower... Just feel the rhythm and go with the flow. This will be a night to remember!
