Ethno sessions are concerts that feature performing artists from different cultures in New Zealand. Auckland and Wellington shows have featured musicians from Iran, India, Nigeria, Israel, Russia, Brazil, Solomon Islands and Aotearoa.
Come down to the Incubator, in the Tauranga Historic Village, and experience a unique world music event, celebrating diversity through music.
At this Ethno concert expect to hear musicians from Argentina, Brazil, Hungary, Korea, and, of course, New Zealand sharing their cultures with us all.
Suggested koha $5-10. Feel free to bring a snack and a thermos.
*This event is a fundraising and awareness raising gig for the very first Ethno New Zealand.
Ethno is a global movement of summer music camps for musicians between the ages of 17 - 30 (http://www.ethno-world.org/info)
The first Ethno New Zealand is coming to Piritahi Marae on Waiheke Island from 20 to 29 January 2018. For more information about this visit https://ethnonewzealand.wixsite.com/ethnonz
