EnviroFest (2nd - 23rd October) is a compilation of interactive events for the whole family, brought to you by our local community groups, tertiary institutions and councils.

The programme is designed to help kids, youth and adults to learn more about our environment and how we can each make a difference. Every week there will be thought-provoking talks, hands-on workshops, and guided tours.

During the school holidays, we've planned kids friendly activities: workshops on cooking, gardening, engineering, science, arts and crafts, guided tours to the water dam and wastewater treatment plant, to the wind farm and more. In the evenings you will enjoy discussions about our oceans, lakes, and rivers, sustainable agriculture and energy efficiency.

Please check our event page to see the dates and the whole range of events http://pncet.org.nz/

This festival aims to increase community awareness about environmental sustainability in a positive and enjoyable way. This year we are concentrating on three topics Te Pūngao, Te Kai me Te Wai (Energy, Food, and Water).

This event is funded by the Palmerston North City Council.
