Follow your inner path to true and lasting happiness.

Do you want to be truly happy? Do you dream of enjoying long-lasting inner peace and contentment? Then this course is for you. Learn how to follow important steps that gradually lead to pure and lasting happiness.

Based on the famous poem “Eight Verses of Training the Mind” and the book “Eight Steps to Happiness”, this day course will be very enlightening, giving you the opportunity to contemplate and meditate, discuss with others and ask questions. Save the date!

About the teachers:

Kelsang Pawo:
Pawo is a Kiwi Buddhist monk who moved to Auckland in early 2017 to become the Education Programme Coordinator for our Centre. He is very dedicated and committed to spiritual development.

Pawo teaches General Programme (GP) classes and substitute teachers Foundation Programme (FP) classes on Saturday mornings. His teachings are based on his personal experience and reveal his sincerity, thoughtfulness and a good sense of humour.

Jasmine Dungey:
Jazz is a bright and methodical Dharma teacher who brings her personal practical experience of Modern Buddhism and meditation to all her presentations. She comes from Christchurch, where she worked as a veterinarian, but has now changed her career to the field of environmental protection. Jazz teaches weekly classes in Takapuna. She is clear and logical, using examples and analogies that make her teachings easy to put into practice to all aspects of daily life.
