Getting out and about by bicycle is a great way to make your travel sustainable, fun and easy. Auckland Transport have a range of free events and training workshops available to ensure your ride is a smooth one.

This very relaxed practical session is run entirely off the road and provides plenty of opportunity to learn and practice the basics. At the session, there will be separate ‘learn to ride’ instruction for anybody who has never ridden a bike, while other participants will practice changing gears, braking, and bike control. Bikes are provided for those who need one.

Registration is required, please visit - at.govt.nz/cycling-walking/cycle-training-and-events/ for more information on all our courses and registrations.

Join AT's mailing list today and you’ll get all the latest Auckland cycling updates, including new cycleway openings and upcoming events plus the chance to ride away on an amazing E-City electric bike.

This event is part of EcoWest Festival 2017, more than 100 events across West Auckland.
