An intimate evening of Indian and Western Music.

This evening will bring together a group comprising of talented and creative musicians from different cultural backgrounds. For this special offering, they will be bringing a touch of Indian Hindustani, of Celtic, Bluegrass and Jazz. Playing individually as well as together, this evening aims to connect people, and instruments, from different cultures and truly live the spirit of diversity and multiculturalism.

- Basant Madhur - is a widely acknowledged tabla player and a much-respected artiste in the arena of Indian Classical Music.

- Akhil Madhur - 18-year-old Akhilesh is a student of his father Deepak Madhur, with a deep-rooted devotion towards music. He has fascinated audiences with his Tabla skills.

- Professor Shuk Dev Madhur - Retired lecturer of music, is renowned and a master in his field, known to New Zealanders as a violinist proficient in the Hindustani style of music.

- Krissy Jackson - is a well-known fiddle player across NZ. Her mantra of “have fiddle - will travel” has landed her in many a musical situation, playing a variety of styles with many people.
