We’ll be giving away heaps of awesome eco-friendly spot prizes and tours for returning volunteers from 2pm - Also live local music will be happening at the surf club from 2pm.

Rubbish sacks, gloves and health and safety information will be provided - all you need to do is sign in, collect clean-up equipment and get stuck in!

Some of the spot prizes up for grabs are surf lessons, surf shop gift vouchers, a free week of yoga classes, bamboo goodies, honey wraps, peninsula tours, organic cotton/hemp apparel, an alternative to plastic everyday items!

Light snacks may be provided for volunteers but bring your own lunch just to be sure!

Kids welcome if accompanied by an adult - so bring the whole fam!

Participants need to bring:
- Closed-toe sturdy shoes, such as sneakers, sports shoes or tramping boots are required for participation. Coastal terrain can be challenging with rocks that can be sharp, loose and slippery.
- Warm and waterproof clothes: check the weather first and be prepared for all scenarios.
- Sun hat and sun cream.
- Reusable water bottle (filled-up and ready to go).
- Lunch/snacks
- Camera (optional): we would love to see your photos after the event. Tag Aotearoa Kaitiaki Objective on your cleanup pics or send to Rachel.gmartin2@gmail.com

Depending on numbers, some people could head round to the harbour, where rubbish seems to collect on the rocks. We'll decide on the day after the briefing.

Nau mai haere mai ki te moana nui a tangaroa manaaki mai tiaki mai.
(The great ocean of Tangaroa welcomes those who care for and respect it).

See you all there!
