Beware the black widow... for she is cursed.

Dr Sketchy Auckland, the home to Auckland's art monkey's is celebrating Halloween this year with the award winning performer Nocturness as the Black Widow, whose look and story were created by Maxine Pro Makeup Artist and debuted at the NZ Body Art Awards 2017.

They are re-creating the look and character just for you deviants... aren't you lucky?

Your MC for the evening is Headmistress and long time Dr. Sketchy Auckland MC Lilly "Arachnophobe" Loca, who will entertain you with irreverent banter (she blames the wine) and scandalous stories. Her wing man for the evening in charge of all the technical mumbo-jumbo will be Mark "Suck 'em dry" Rous, who will keep the beats (and timing) going all night long.

**Reminder: Dr Sketchy Auckland is now BI-MONTHLY on the first Tuesday of the month it falls on. There will be no Sketchy in July. The remaining sketchy's for 2017 after this one is December.

Strictly R18 due to the night taking place in a bar (aka. The Wine Cellar in SKA - Saint Kevins Arcade in Auckland CBD). We start at 7pm sharp. Please note, we are becoming rather popular and as such, we recommend you come early to ensure a seat! $10.00 cash on the door to feed the model.

Bring your favourite tools: pens, paper, pencils, crayons, glue, cameras and/or finger paint. Dr. Sketchy is open to anyone, regardless of creed, colour and artistic style.

Note: Dr Sketchy is an anti-art movement, focused on making live drawing fun, entertaining and out of the box. No nudity is involved, but an open mind and sense of fun is a must. This is not a burlesque show, but people are welcome to attend to watch goings on if they wish.

We are also super proud to announce we have two new sponsors: arts supply company Gordon Harris and feminist burlesque zine Pastie Politics! As well as the o for oresome Arkham City Comics and Graphic Brewing. Thanks for supporting the art monkeys!
