Opening night performance: Thursday, 4 May 5:30 pm
Featuring Projection by Oli Blair & Live Music by Simon Eastwood.

In Dirty Edges/Clean Lines, line ventures out into the white expanse, feeling its way around the paper. Lisa Munnelly’s drawings develop as a play of folds, folding/unfolding, enfolding/withholding. The artist’s signature large-scale charcoal drawings are immersed in a movement of light and sound. The artist returns every Tuesday afternoon to install a new drawing onsite.

Panel discussion: Tuesday 23 May 5:30 pm
Drawing: construct-connect-converse

In association with Drawing Open: An International Drawing Research Community recently formed at Massey University’s College of Creative Arts. Chaired by Sam Trubridge, Lisa Munnelly, Emma Febvre Richards and Maria O’Toole reflect upon the role of conversation, connectedness, and collaboration within contemporary drawing practice.
