Labour Rotorua

All welcome!

All kiwis have the basic right to be safe. If you are concerned about crime and safety in our city, here is one community meeting you won’t want to miss.

The Rotorua Daily Post reports that every day for the past two and half years, there have been an average of four victims of theft in Rotorua. At least twice a day a car is broken into or stolen, three and a half unlawful break-ins occur, and one person is assaulted - every single day.

With Rotorua set to receive just 5 new cops under National, people in our city can't afford to wait for their safety to be taken seriously.

Join us this Friday, as Labour Spokesperson for Police, Stuart Nash shares with us Labour’s fresh approach to crime and properly resourcing our police workforce, while hearing your concerns in an interactive Q&A.

Together we can stop our community falling victim to crime.
