Give a little. Dance a lot. Feel amazing.

The proceeds of this CommunityGroove will go to support Methodist Social Services Food Bank. Entry is 5 or more cans of food, all of which will be donated to Methodist Food Bank.

The Groove is a ridiculously fun dance experience. A wide range of music is used - pop, hip-hop, Latin, African, house, rock and more - with simple dance moves for each song which each person then gets to dance in their own unique style. No dance experience or ability required.

There's no left or right to worry about, so you can't get it wrong! The key is just to add your own style and make it feel good.

The CommunityGroove will be facilitated by Palmerston North's own Paula Harris, who is also the New Zealand Groove ambassador.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily, and bring a bottle of water to help you replenish your fluids. And be prepared to have a whole lotta fun while you shake, shimmy, wiggle, sweat and get your Groove on!

Simple moves plus your own style equals an organic dance experience.
