City of Ales and SOBA (Society of Beer Advocates) present an all Auckland crafty showcase, Auckland's best little beer festival is back and stronger than ever for 2017, an event not to be missed.

Showcasing the best of what Auckland has to offer, with over 24 individual beers matched with a fantastic tasty menu. For the first time in Auckland's City of Ales history we are doing things a little different. Expect to be dazzled by the Taite Prize finalists, Hopetoun Brown who will be roaming the City of Ales Festival as you buzz from beer to beer. The Supergroove horn section will be stomping around with a very special guest, multi-instrumentalist Finn Scholes - arguably the finest trumpet player in the country,

Be sure to expect some off the wall beers alongside some of the crafty staples we all know and love.

Your ticket gives you entry to the City of Ales festival at the Maritime Room, two beer tokens to get you started tasting some of our amazing brews and a tasty plate of food alongside beer snacks available throughout the session. If you'd like to sample extra beers, tokens are available to purchase throughout both sessions.

A small number of branded glassware and T shirts will be available to purchase for a donation, of which all proceeds will go to a local charity.

We are still looking for volunteers that love their beer and know how to pour the perfect taster. If you are interested in supporting this cause you will be heavily rewarded for your skills. Get in touch with Damon via e-mail: auckland@soba.org.nz

SOBA and the City of Ales Team look forward to seeing you all there.
