Lead a very meaningful life by relying on the Three Jewels

Why are so many people interested in Buddhism? Come find out! In this day course and special ceremony you will learn about the supreme good qualities of the Three Jewels: Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. You will also learn the benefits of relying upon the Three Jewels to make your human life profundly meaningful.

At the end of the day we will have the opportunity to take part in the Mahayana Refuge Ceremony, which is a special ritual chanted prayer. It is auspicious to make offerings, such as pure food and drink, on the shrine during this ceremony.

Everyone is welcome!

Session times:
- 11am-1pm - Teaching, group discussion and morning tea
- 3-4pm - Q&A and guided meditation
- 4:30-5:45pm - Mahayana Refuge Ceremony

About the teachers:

Kelsang Pawo:
PAWO is a Kiwi Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher for our Centre. He is very dedicated and committed to spiritual development. Pawo teaches General Programme (GP) and Foundation Programme (FP) classes. His teachings are based on his personal experience and reveal his sincerity, thoughtfulness and good sense of humour.
