Duelling pianos (also known simply as "sing-along") is a form of entertainment, usually on stage with two pianos, each played by a professional player who sings and entertains; humour and audience participation are prevalent. Cam ‘n’ Sam specialise in playing your favourite rock and roll, classic rock, Top 40, R&B and Country hits.

These are played primarily by requests from our extensive song menu. Literal duelling pianos can be verified as early as the late 1890s, when ragtime piano players would actually "duel" in an effort to see who could play better and faster.

In 1986, a piano bar called Dallas Alley Players at this club started redefining the style of duelling pianos the goal of the players is not generally to work against each other, but rather to gain audience participation with singing and requests. This is widely accepted as the current incarnation of duelling pianos/sing-along.

“Cam ‘n’ Sam Duelling Pianos sing-along Show” - is a great night out & the perfect way to entertain your circle of friends and associates.

Cam and Sam are talented local NZ musicians who have amassed and impressive selection of Songs. During the show they take audience requests and keep the crowd coming back for more.
