New Zealand Dance Company.

Striking works by acclaimed NZ choreographer Ross McCormack (Matter) and Australia’s Lina Limosani (Whispers from Pandora’s Box) from a stage-blazing trans-Tasman double bill from The New Zealand Dance Company for one night only.

'Matter' is an exceptionally inventive work created by one of New Zealand’s finest and internationally renowned choreographers. This highly acclaimed piece contemplates indecision, environment and questions of purpose within a surreal network of giant pillars. Matter invites you to delve into the depths of humanity, including your own.

'Whispers from Pandora’s Box' is a theatrical exposition where Kill Bill meets Elizabeth I, a true romp of action-packed pandemonium. With a score created from mashed up film soundtracks and absurdist music, this black comedy contains Elizabethan-period inspired costumes, David Lynch style elements, and shockingly timed fight sequences.

“The Absurdity of Humanity is a powerful and compelling commentary on the human condition and it should not be missed.”- NZ Herald
