One of the keys to a sophisticated yoga practice is our ability to “see” our own bodies accurately (our interception) and then develop the skill to move specific parts of our body (our proprioception).

We are excited to host internationally renowned guest teacher Ross Rayburn for a full weekend of exploring the biomechanics of yoga and their capacity to support and enhance your experience on the mat. His down to earth sense of humour, in-depth knowledge of biomechanics, and sincere dedication to this practice over many many years make this workshop unmissable.

In BioVinyasa, Ross will project anatomical images and visuals from an interactive anatomy app of various bones, muscles and connective tissue. He then leads the class through a sequence of poses related to the highlighted anatomy. You’ll be amazed at what a difference it makes to view the anatomy, visualise it internally and then feel it right away in your own body.

All sessions will explore anatomy and biomechanics to give you new insights and awareness into how to safely and deeply master these categories of poses. Perfect for yoga students & teachers of all styles of yoga looking to deepen their practice and knowledge of yoga.
