Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is danced widely all over the world but not identically. The basics are three steps with a Cuban hip motion. A smooth, flowing simple style of dance that is growing in popularity.

Our Teacher: Greydis Montero Liranza

Greydis is the only professional female Cuban dancer in Australasia. Originating from Havana Cuba, Greydis is an award winning and highly accredited dancer with over 20years experience in the dance world.

Greydis' fun-loving approach to teaching, her energy and passion, combined with her strong cultural background makes her an inspirational teacher and mentor for anyone who would like to dance.

Greydis believes “dancing for her is a blessing, a passion and something to be shared.”
