Blenheim Musical Theatre are proud to present their ever-popular Theatre Restaurant. Local Marlborough talent directed by Pam Logan.

Avenue Q is a puppet-filled comedy which follows a group of 20-somethings seeking their purpose in big-city life. This laugh-out-loud musical tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it’s clear that this is not your ordinary neighbourhood. Together Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

The show is inspired by the children’s show Sesame Street as it features puppets. However, Avenue Q is R-rated, featuring adult topics, offensive language, and even an onstage portrayal of puppet sex.

Theatre Restaurant performances are always a sell-out. They are popular for Christmas functions, or groups. A three-course meal is included in the ticket price. The bar will be open before the performance and during the interval. (No BYO, EFTpos available).

Book early to avoid disappointment.
