A.R. Rahman celebrating 25 years of musical journey:
Double Academy award and Golden Globe Winner A.R. Rahman is heading to New Zealand this October!

Along with the world’s best, musicians, lighting and visuals, this spectacular night will bring live everyone’s favourite ARR songs from his debut to the world famous ‘Jai Ho’. An unmissable, concert by this legendary musician.

A.R. Rahman is an Indian film composer, record producer, musician and singer. His film scoring career began in the early 1990s. Fusing the delicate intricacy of eastern classical composition with the innovations of electronic music and the majesty of traditional orchestral arrangements, A.R. Rahman's music has earned him two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe.

Working in India's various film industries, international cinema and theatre, by 2003, Rahman, in a career spanning over a decade, had sold more than 100 million records of his film scores and soundtracks worldwide, and sold over 200 million cassettes, making him one of the world's all-time top selling recording artists.

Described by Time as ‘the world's most prolific and popular composer', the Indian singer, songwriter, composer and philanthropist has influenced every corner of his home country's cinema culture. Time Magazine has referred to him as the "Mozart of Madras" and several Tamil commentators have coined him the nickname Isai Puyal (English: Music Storm).

A world without A.R. Rahman would be a world without Indian Cinematic music.

Also featuring:
From Bollywood, Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi, Haricharan, Ranjit Barot.

A concert not to be missed!
