Competition: School of Music Festival.

The School of Music is home to one of the finest collections of early keyboard instruments in the Southern Hemisphere, offering students throughout New Zealand the wonderful opportunity to extend their musical understanding of major repertory, and an unrivalled early music experience.

In 2014 Anna Nathan’s generosity extended to the donation of a new clavichord to the School, feeding into its exceptional strength in 18-century studies and performance practice. Established in 2016 to spark students' interest in the study of early music, this annual prize concert will showcase students performing early music works as they compete for prizes sponsored by Anna Nathan, a long-standing supporter and donor of the University and the School of Music.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy tomorrow's musicians trying their hands at yesterday's musical methods.
