Performance: School of Music Festival.

An accomplished and playful performance of Saint-Saëns’ humorous suite, The Carnival of the Animals. Featuring fourteen movements, this piece will be presented by the University of Auckland Chamber Ensemble.

In keeping with the evening’s French flavour, the University Of Auckland Symphony Orchestra takes on Mozart’s Symphony No. 31, more widely known under its nom de plume as the Paris Symphony.

Also featuring jazz and pop performers, as well as our acclaimed choral ensembles, this event promises an evening of great riches!

N.B. Online registrations will close 3 hours prior to each event start time. Registrations are recommended, however, not compulsory.

This event is part of the School of Music Festival - a fourteen-day celebration of music at the University of Auckland. The Festival will showcase the School's diverse musical life and give an insight into the day-to-day life of students and staff.
