Laughter with a kilt on. If you like a laugh and you want to know how this red haired nation came to be, then this is the show for you. What did Scots do before they came to Otago? Romans, Picts, Britons, Angles, Scots, Christians, Pagans, Canmores, Bruces. Dodgy schemes, mythic heroes and all the people who went to found Dunedin. If you like Scotland, you love history and you don't mind some nob jokes then you'll love this.

Bruce Fummey is a previous winner of Scottish Comedian of the Year. He’s half of Best of Scottish Comedy, which has sold out the last two years at Dunedin Fringe, and his History of Scotland shows have previously sold out at Fringes from Perth WA to Edinburgh UK, so don’t hang about — I know what you naughty Dunedin folk are like.

‘His research is deep, his timing split second perfect and his ad-lib ability is amazing. Simply and purely hilarious.' — Scottish Daily Record

'This man exudes infectious warmth and humour… an hour in the company of a delightful Scot… take your brain to see him, he’ll put stuff in it, and you’ll feel the better for it.' — chortle.co.uk

Fringe tags; comedy, storytelling.
