In a busy world we can easily find ourselves stressed and anxious. Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment—and accepting it without judgment.

There are a variety of methods this can be achieved. Mindfulness has been tested scientifically and found to be a key element in happiness and well-being. It can help to reduce anxiety, depression, insomnia and stress.

The course is 8 sessions and will run over 8 consecutive weeks- from 4th Oct to 22 Nov. Each 2 hour session will include a structured presentation as well as mindfulness exercises and practice.

Information on the latest research on mindfulness, its benefits and how the brain works will be integrated into each session. Participants will be encouraged to practice mindfulness exercises during the week to build on the skills learnt during sessions.

$80 for the 8 week course which includes a 100 + page workbook.
