The Okere Falls Beerfest is back again for October 2017!

Kicking off the week on Monday, October 16th is our new Hospo Night with DJ Danley Vince, Happy Hour Schwein (Pork Roast ) and Beer Specials! Tuesday is offering a second night of Happy Hour Specials and Local Musician Sam Ricketts, Wednesday is Beer Tasting Goodness, Thursday is our infamous Local's Night and Friday & Saturday Beerfest are Ticketed Events boasting a fantastic menu of live music & German festivities, including our favourite high-energy, horn-blowing Festival Band! The week ends with our cruisy German Breakfast and great coffee in the garden bar to wind it all down.

Friday night line up is confirmed with awesome sounds from 5 pm sharp with The Noise playing high energy rock and pop, followed by dynamic Acoustic beats and funky sounds of one of last year's crowd favourites, Whitechapel Jak. Headlining and back by popular demand from a short winter performance is Otium, an awesome group of lads bringing reggae, dub & funk from Whangarei - super fun and super talented.

Saturday Line-up is also confirmed with live music from 12noon. Coming in early we have Sonic Delusion with their electro acoustical funk to get you grooving followed by awesome vocals and high energy harmonies from Albi & The Wolves. Headlining and first time performing in Rotorua is the much talked about Clap Clap Riot. This Rock n’ roll band is known for their raw and energetic songwriting and magnetic live shows. Described as Straight-up rollicking, riotous, classic guitar pop with strong elements of Rock n Roll from the 60s - this show will go off.

Schweinshaxe Pork Roast Dinner Tickets are available every night however, we have limited numbers so please purchase your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.

A range of German Bretzels, Griller Burgers, Bratwurst Sausages and more will also be available for purchase on the night. Our fantastic collection of wines, ciders and NZ beers on tap, and our new low and non-alcoholic beverages, will also be on hand.

Bus Transfers:
Departing and returning from 1241 Fenton Street. Your Bus transfer includes 1x pick up and 1x return. We advise being there at least 10minutes prior to the bus departure time. Passengers may use the bus for a one-way transfer, however, there are no discounts for one-way use.

Come and join us for an amazing week of German Festivities. Ziggy, Ziggy, Ziggy! Oi, Oi, Oi.

Please note: Beerfest is not a BYO event and is a festival-style atmosphere in which to enjoy great food, exceptional beverages, and fantastic music. Only happy people please, or you will be asked to leave nicely.
