Welcome to Youth Participation & Justice; a UNICEF Youth for Change Conference - created and organised by a group of passionate UNICEF Youth for Change Club leaders in support of UNICEF New Zealand.

We have designed this conference to inspire the future leaders and changemakers of this world and give them the tools and knowledge to focus towards what matters most to them. As a collective we will actively engage with issues facing youth all over the world - as well as in New Zealand, and consider constructive ways of addressing these issues.

The conference will include facilitated discussions surrounding contested global issues and topics such as morality, peace, development and how to inspire change. There will be guest speakers from all around New Zealand, who will facilitate workshops and inspire participants with their perspective on the themes Youth Participation and Justice.

To reserve your seat at this conference please purchase tickets through this page, an invoice will be sent to you within a few days of your registration.

Ticket Prices:
These tickets are for those who are first in - Early Bird Ticket sales will close at the end of April if not sold out prior.

All tickets are payable by invoice. Once you have confirmed your ticket purchase, we will send you a confirmation once the payment has cleared. If you would like to make other arrangements to pay, or if you are unable to pay due to financial restrictions, please contact our lead organiser at ec.sturm5@gmail.com.

The conference venue is wheelchair accessible.

To ensure the smooth running of the conference, we are selecting a small, specialised group of conference volunteers who will work aside the Youth For Change organisers and leave with bettered skills in communication, leading and working as a team.

All volunteers will be provided with training and as a result will be tasked with creating an unprecedented conference environment for participants. On Sunday, May 22nd, we will be holding a training day for volunteers. We will confirm times with volunteers once they have been selected and confirmed as a volunteer for the conference. Both the training and the conference will be held at the Canterbury Horticultural Society in Christchurch.

Individuals can apply to be a volunteer through this link: http://goo.gl/forms/n0IxqXxiP9.
