For today’s young people being online is an integral part of everyday life - from Facebook to YouTube and Snapchat. With so much social life and communication now online, how do you make sure your kids are safe?

During October Hutt City Libraries is running a series of talks and workshops all about Cyber Safety. Learn about what’s happening online, and what you can do to make sure your kids are as safe as possible when having fun with technology.

Young People and Tech (Presentation by Ross Young, Google).
Ross will talk about how to make the most of the digital technology and stay safe online. His talk will cover digital literacy, Google's safety tools, and practical tips to support you, your kids and their friends - along with information about new services like YouTube for Kids and Google Cardboard Exhibitions.

This talk is for kids and their families.
