Take part in and enjoy our two special Whānau Saturdays where we explore music and story-telling ideal for younger members of the whānau. In week one, join Moira Wairama for legends of Taniwha and other sea creatures followed by craft activities. In week two hang out with Jerome Kavanagh in a Putangitangi music workshop. You’ll experience an interactive experience where participants will connect through the power of music and our natural environment.

Share in the Sounds and Stories of these ancient instruments gifted by our ancestors to these lands, including a ‘sing-a-long’ experience for children and their whanau to create a magical atmosphere and unforgettable learning experience for all, followed by making your own putangitangi clay flute.
