Come join us in Paeroa on Friday, October 28th, for a night of top NZ bands and speakers, gathering to celebrate and defend our Karangahake mountain!

A concert of three premier NZ bands, interwoven with guest speakers and refreshments.
Enjoy like-minded performers and speakers from different corners of Aotearoa, united by their desire to protect this beautiful land.

Swamp Thing:
Longtime John Butler Trio drummer Michael Barker in 2010 formed two-man Blues/Roots juggernaut Swamp Thing with fellow Kiwi Grant Haua.
Swamp Thing’s energetic live performances are renowned for inspiring concert-goers to dance and have fun while showcasing a wealth of musical experience and engaging their audience at all times.
Swamp Thing play every show like it is their last, making a sound that reaches far back into the musical DNA of roots music.

Regan Perry & the Evolutionaries:
NZ singer-songwriter, Regan Perry - dubbed The “Little King” & “The Blue Eyed Hendrix” - has joined forces with The Evolutionaries Band, an Organic-Electric-Roots-Experience.
After impressing the States enough to be called “One of the world’s best musicians” and having the one and only Junior Marvin (lead guitarist of Bob Marley & The Wailers) saying “Reggae needs more like Regan”, Regan returned to NZ to open for Jimmy Cliff, Herbs, Trinity Roots, Tomorrow People, 12 Tribes of Israel and many more.

Rivers & the Northwind:
Rivers & the Northwind fronted by Nina Mayhara bring soul-infused folk/alternative with velvet-smooth vocals, original songs for the conscious evolution of humanity ..and for cheeky fun moments in between.

Guest speakers will make an appearance from Coromandel Watchdog, Protect Karangahake, Greenspot Guardians and Hauraki Iwi, local heroes fighting to preserve our beautiful whenua.

Come join the gathering, enjoy the music, and protect our mountain together!
