Calling all bug lovers aged 5 and up - hear about the fascinating lives of insects with Victoria Professor Phil Lester.

Insects have an amazing diversity of both species and lifestyles. The way they find their food, eat and produce offspring can be the stuff of horror films.

There are teenage beetles that gain their nutrition by sucking the life from the tongue of frogs that try to eat them. There are wasps that inject venom into the brain of their cockroach prey, turning them into zombies that obey every command of their wasp master. These are just some of the fantastic examples of a stranger-than-fiction reality happening all around us right now.

Come along with the family to hear about some of the most amazing animals on Earth.
