How and why did the dinosaurs die? Scientists think the extinction of dinosaurs was caused by an asteroid and its aftershocks and earthquakes.

Hear Dr. Karyne Rogers talk about what happened to the dinosaurs and learn how to make your own earthquake measuring device! See and touch a piece of rock from the last day the dinosaurs lived.

For ages 7 and above.

The 'Dinosaur Footprints - A Story of Discovery' exhibition is brought to you by GNS Science and principal sponsor New Zealand Oil and Gas and will be at the War Memorial Library from 5-30 September.
