You are warmly invited to join me for a day of reflection and renewal in a peaceful harbourside setting, when we will explore the heart of what matters most to us in our lives.

Our heart is the source of our human capacity for making meaningful connections and building rich, trustworthy relationships - with ourselves, with others, with nature. When we are on retreat, the noise and busyness of life is stilled, and we are able to consciously listen for what our hearts would like to say.

This retreat offers reflective space for you to tap your inner source of creativity and wisdom, where you may also find a deeper sense of hope and purpose in life and the courage to stand up and strive for what you believe in.

Program description:
The retreat is based on the work of Parker J. Palmer and the Circle of Trust approach. Drawing on insights from poets, storytellers and various wisdom traditions, a Circle of Trust offers safe space for self-reflection and shared exploration. You can learn more about the approach at http://www.couragerenewal.org/approach.

This retreat is for you if you are looking to develop your inner capacity to lead a more authentic, meaningful and engaged life, both personally and professionally, and to sustain your heart and hope amidst the many challenges we face today.

Going on retreat:
We use the word ‘retreat’ not to suggest escape or withdrawal, but rather as an opportunity to engage at a deeper level with your life and work – time and space to pay attention to your identity and to embrace the various roles and responsibilities that fill your life. It is about engaging fully with yourself and the work you do.

"The heart is where we integrate the intellect with the rest of our faculties, such as emotion, imagination, and intuition. It is where we can learn how to 'think the world together', not apart, and find the courage to act on what we know." - Parker J. Palmer.

The program fee is based on a sliding scale of $50.00 - $100.00. Please pay as much as you can afford within this range. It includes materials, morning and afternoon tea. Please bring your own lunch.
