Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to postpone the launch of thE Taranaki Rural Business Network event that was scheduled for 9th November 2016.

At this stage we are anticipating the launch will now take place on Wednesday 1st February 2017 which will be held at the same venue - TSB Hub, Camberwell Rd, Hawera.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. All tickets that have been purchased will automatically carry over to the new date or a date after that or a refund is available.

The launch of our 11th RBN Hub - Taranaki. Mike Petersen - a valued RBN guest speaker will join us at the TSB Hub and will talk about his recent trips abroad and provide an update on New Zealand's state of play on the global stage.

Come along for a chat and complimentary drink and nibbles at 6:45pm before Mike starts his presentation.

Mike was appointed to the position of New Zealand Special Agricultural Trade Envoy in 2013. Prior to this Mike has been heavily involved with the restructuring of the sheep and beef industry entities in New Zealand, and is the former Chairman of Beef + Lamb New Zealand (formerly Meat & Wool New Zealand), and the New Zealand Meat Board. Mike served as a director on these boards for 10 years, retiring in March 2014.

Mike has grown his farming governance roles since 2005 as a director on a number of privately owned farming companies overseeing nearly 150,000 sheep and beef stock units in New Zealand.

Currently, Mike owns and runs a finishing farm in Hawke's Bay. He is also a director of ANZCO Foods and several privately owned farming companies overseeing nearly 200,000 sheep and beef stock units in New Zealand.
